AUREN International awarded as “Sustainable Firm of the Year”
AUREN International was named “Sustainable Champion of the Year” at the 2018 International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) Awards. This year’s winners were celebrated at a gala dinner ceremony in London last October 4th.
The awards celebrate the best in the accountancy market globally: those that are successfully serving their clients through innovation and leadership as well as the best among the profession.
The prize is given in recognition of the amazing job carried out by Auren in promoting and disseminating the fulfilment of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations.
The sustainable development goals (SDG) is an agenda that was passed in 2015 by the General Assembly of the United Nations, which sets 17 goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030, and aims to “transform our world” by tackling challenges that require urgent and cross-disciplinary integrated solutions, visions and actions.
Auren shares the commitment to these SDGs as an indispensable element for people, the development of society and for the protection of our environment for future generations, which is why the CSR Committee has developed a project that will last between 2 to 3 years.
The “Sustainable champion of the year” award recognizes Auren’s consistent work in promoting an agenda to change the world, and we are extremely proud to receive this award and thank the International Accounting Bulletin for this recognition.
