Energy management
We optimise companies’ energy savings through monitoring consumption with the SMARKIA platform, which allows us to track and control the client’s installation and, through the application of AI and deep learning, operates the facilities, ensuring their energy efficiency. Our team of engineers conducts energy diagnostics, energy audits according to RD 56/2016 or audits to find ESCOs, with the aim of evaluating savings potential and proposing strategic energy investment plans as well as promoting continuous improvement with the implementation of energy management systems under ISO 50001.
In the field of Energy Efficiency, we conduct asset analyses during the purchase or energy rehabilitation phase, using energy modelling with CYPETHERM, and have an Energy Efficiency Certificate (EEC) prepared by competent technicians, complemented by the preparation of a Building Evaluation Report (BER). We also conduct diagnostics for the implementation of sustainable seals (BREEAM, LEED, WELL, Green Certification, WIRESCORE, SMARTSCORE).
Energy sector grants
Our team of engineers focuses on providing specialised advice and managing grants related to energy savings and low-carbon economy, covering the industrial and tertiary sectors, among others. We help identify energy service companies (ESCOs) and analyse different types of energy contracts to finance projects, whether through guaranteed or shared savings. In addition, we measure and verify the savings generated according to internationally recognised protocols, such as IMVP-EVO, in order to accurately define the savings percentages to be passed on to the ESCOs. We have certified CEM and CMVP engineers, essential for these types of projects.
Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs)
We help our clients evaluate the ESCs that each energy efficiency action already implemented or pending implementation might generate. An ESC (Energy Savings Certificate) is an electronic document certifying that, after an energy efficiency action has been performed, a new final energy saving of 1kWh has been achieved.
This allows for the monetisation of energy savings, and the owner of the savings can receive financial compensation if they sell the savings obtained for subsequent certification through the ESC system and recover part of the investment in energy efficiency.
We advise throughout the process, both on the design and implementation of measurement and verification plans for savings and on the preparation of the necessary technical documentation; we also seek the best purchase options for these ESCs, contacting Delegated and Obligated Entities.
