The firm’s Consulting Department has a high degree of specialisation in the evaluation, preparation and presentation of investment projects, business process re-engineering, internal control consulting, risk management and strategic planning.

What we offer our clients
This Department provides financial-economic consulting services, including the following:
- The valuation of companies in various industries, using independent criteria and the most widely accepted professional practices in the field. Identification of critical variables for the company and simulation of scenarios in order to provide clients with a range of expected values for the negotiation of their company.
- Evaluation and preparation of Investment Projects; analysis of Project viability through the development of specific financial models for each individual business.
- Preparation of Investment Projects to be submitted to financial entities in order to obtain bank financing: Bidding of Investment Projects of Banco República (BROU) and private banks.
- Social Interest Housing (VIS): application of Law nº 18.795 and Decree nº 355/011; advice in the different stages of the Project’s life.
- Project evaluation: this includes the evaluation of the Project in relation to land requirements, promotion areas, price ceilings and minimum and maximum square metres per type, admitted types and requirements for new works, refurbishments, recycling and extensions. Project profitability analysis considering the limitations arising from the foregoing analysis.
- Submission of the Project to the National Housing Agency (ANV): preparation of formal documentation to submit the Project to the ANV. It should be noted that, at this stage, most of the documentation to be submitted comprises purely architectural aspects. At this point, AUREN’s task is to co-ordinate and compile all the elements in order to comply with the formal submission requirements.
- VAT refund purchases through credit certificates: once the Project is approved by the ANV and the works commence, all invoices must be submitted to the ANV monthly for approval. These are then submitted to the DGI in order to obtain the credit certificates corresponding to the VAT due to each supplier. The ANV requires the submission of the original invoices, together with a breakdown of all the items included in them, detailing the quantity and unit cost. It is important to note that this opening is required for each invoice to be approved; invoices for general concepts are not accepted. The foregoing documentation must be accompanied by a statement from the architect responsible for the matter certifying that the materials included in the invoices submitted are included in the work or on site.
